Thank you so much for your interest in Crossroads Christian School.  CCS is dedicated to providing students with the opportunity for academic excellence, and guided growth in mental, spiritual and social development. Crossroads is not part of any church, but a non-denominational homeschool transforming the lives of students and cultivating constructive relationships with the Victoria community. We believe quality Christian education is achieved when parents, students, and teachers firmly support the school in every aspect and maintain open communication with one another. The following specifics are essential:

♦ Parents are responsible for their child’s education and spiritual growth.

♦ Teachers must realize a calling for teaching and be spiritually and academically qualified.

♦ Students must have a desire to strive for excellence in studies and activities, to be respectful of others and to serve the school, church and the community.

While this site can provide you with an introduction to Crossroads Christian School, there is no substitute for visiting our campus and experiencing our community firsthand.  If you have any questions you would like addressed before you fill out the application packet, or would like to schedule a tour, please call the school at 361-212-3078 or email us at smitchamore@crossroadschristianvictoria.com.

STEP 1 - SUBMIT AN APPLICATION

CCS utilizes a rolling admissions process and therefore asks parents to promptly complete an Application Packet for each child along with the $100.00 non-refundable application fee.  Although applications may be submitted at any time during the school year, or up to a year in advance of the student’s intended start date; open registration will only continue until we reach our capacity, both for the current school year and next school year. A waitlist will be added if necessary. Placement of students on the waiting list in kindergarten and grades 1st through 12th is based on the date of the application and priority status. Placement on the waiting list does not constitute acceptance.

STEP 2 - ADMISSIONS INTERVIEW

After CCS evaluates the admissions packet, we schedule a family interview. We would like both parents or guardians to attend the interview as well as students applying to grades 1 through 12.

STEPS 3 and 4 - ADMISSIONS STATUS and ENROLLMENT

Unclear, ambiguous, and incomplete records will not be accepted.
Applications are considered incomplete and cannot move through the approval process if we have not received all proper documentation:
  • your childs’ transcript or most up to date progress report
  • any IEP or 504 documentaion
  • any neuropsychological or academic testing

Please email all docouments to info@crossroadschristianvictoria.com, or fax to (972) 236-0026

While we always hope that we will be a good fit for each and every family that applies, Crossroads Christian reserves the right to deny admission to any student whom we determine would not benefit from the programs and services available at Crossroads Christian. The family also reserves the right to withdraw from the admissions process at any time or to have their application put on hold for up to a year.

CCS does not discriminate or retaliate on the basis of gender, race, color, national or ethnic origin, or physical or cognitive disability in administration of its educational policies, admission policies, and other school administered programs. However, Crossroads Christian School Incorporated does reserve the right to use appropriate selection criteria for employees and students to fulfill its stated goals and objectives.

In this current and challenging culture, we want to thank you again for considering us as your partner in the most important responsibility you have as a parent, preparing the next generation of responsible adults.

NOTE: CCS closes registration when enrollment reaches capacity.

SCHOOL SUPPLIES:

ALL Students need their own laptop.

CCS provides 99% of all supplies needed throughout the year for each and every student. For supplies, we ask that students bring two things: their Bibles and either a headset or ear buds. Although we have extra Bibles on campus, students should get used to using their own Bibles for research and further study throughout the day. Students are asked to bring their Bibles to campus each time they arrive. Students that do not have a Bible can use the ones we have on campus as needed.
