To maintain a safe, secure, and nurturing environment for our students, all prospective staff members and volunteers must complete our standard onboarding and safety process:

  • Employment/Volunteer Application

  • Comprehensive Background Check & Clearances

  • CCS School Policies & Procedures Agreements

  • Compliance Orientation

  • Health & Emergency Response Training:

    • CPR, AED, and First Aid Certification

    • Emergency Epinephrine (EpiPen) Administration

    • Asthma, Anaphylaxis, and Epilepsy Action Plans

    • Heat Illness and Dehydration Prevention (essential for Texas climate/sports)

  • Student Wellness & Safety Awareness Sessions:

    • Child Abuse and Neglect Prevention & Reporting

    • Mental Health First Aid & Suicide Awareness

    • Anti-Bullying and Cyber-Safety Strategies

  • Campus Security Protocols:

    • Standard Response Protocol (SRP) for Campus Security & Active Threat Response

    • Fire, Weather, and Evacuation Drills

Our flexible, structured hybrid schedule is designed to optimize learning while supporting independent students.

Daily Operational Hours

Normal operating hours when school is in session (Monday through Thursday):

  • Student Hours: 8:30 AM – 2:30 PM

  • Office Hours: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM
