Elective courses earn academic credit while equipping a learner with targeted skills and knowledge. These courses allow for personalization and career-readiness in a student’s track. Further, our Career and Technical Education (CTE) elective courses provide career-readiness through skills validation and result in industry certifications that have been developed and issued by industry leaders. These courses reflect the needs of real-world career expectations and distinguish individuals from their peers when applying for jobs. Integrated career guidance and exploration makes exploring career options easy throughout the course.

these start in 9th grade and are Biblically-based & geared toward helping students build a Christian worldview that will stay with them throughout adulthood. 
As part of the 
these start in 6th grade with all of the rigor, personalization, and relevancy you expect from CCS. Students can explore agricultural sciences, guitar, coding, and even aerospace technology. 
For $150/yr and starting in 7th grade, students can access the largest CTE program in the nation. Organized into over 50 career tracks, these courses prepare students for almost 80 certifications:

For $50 a course, students can access the largest online library of standards-aligned CTE courses, covering 8 subject areas and 16 career clusters.

If you like working with your hands, are mechanically inclined, and enjoy designing and building things, consider a career in an industrial trade. CCS's interactive driver’s education experience incorporates streaming video, 3-D case studies, and dynamic learning activities to engage students beyond a traditional lecture and designed to teach

Start the Drivers Ed Class Portion to Get a Permit. You must complete six hours of a state-approved teen drivers' education course before you can apply to get a learners permit and take the written test. With us, you can complete the hours and prep for the test on any device at your own pace.  Free Texas DPS practice permit tests increase the odds of passing. 

Teens between the ages of 14 and 17 take this self-paced course for the theory part of their driver’s education online and parents can provide the behind-the-wheel training!

Once you have your learners permit, you’ll need to complete the remaining 26 hours of the Texas teen driving course, pass the final online exam and get time behind the wheel. A total of 32 hours of driving lessons must be completed over the course of six months before you can upgrade from a learners permit to a full-fledged drivers license.
